Obituary of Fred Swiderski

Fred R. Swiderski, 66, of East Haven and Northford, beloved husband of Lynn (Farrissey) Swiderski, passed away May 3, 2013. He was the son of the late Walter L and Mildred (Piascik) Swiderski. Mr. Swiderski grew up in East Haven CT. As a youth, he spent a lot of time on his Grandfather’s farm. He also enjoyed spending time fishing with family on Long Island Sound. Fred worked in the manufacturing industry for many years until he opened his own business, Offload Manufacturing in Milford CT. He was the owner and President of this successful business until he passed away. Over the years, Mr. Swiderski enjoyed traveling, skiing, diving and relaxing at the beach with family and friends. In addition to his wife, Fred leaves behind his daughters, Kelly Smagacz (Christopher) of South Windsor and Taylor Flannery of Wilmington, North Carolina; and his sons, Fred Swiderski, Jr. of Northford and Daniel Swiderski of East Haven; a brother, Edward Swiderski of East Haven; two grandchildren, Evan and Abby. He is also predeceased by a brother Walter Swiderski, Jr. Mr. Swiderski was very active with the Momauguin Recreation League (East Haven Little League) for many years. A celebration of Fred’s life will take place Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, CT. Family and friends are welcome from 11 AM until time of service at 1 PM.
