Joseph Pisaturo, 53 of East Haven, passed away June 11, 2013 at CT. Hospice, surrounded by his family, after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born Sept. 3, 1959, to Louis and Nancy (ArcAngelo) Pisaturo. Joseph is preceded in death by his mother. Joseph is survived by his father, Louis Pisaturo, loving wife, Frances (East) Pisaturo of East Haven and children; Sarah Vitello (Michael), Joseph Pisaturo, Marie Pisaturo and John Pisaturo all of East Haven. Joseph is also survived by three grandchildren, Nina, Teresa, and Mia Vitello, a sister, Frances Holt (Kevin) of RI and many nieces and nephews. Joe was a dedicated body builder and avid fisherman who enjoyed spending time fishing with his family. He was employed for many years by Coastline Terminals as a crane operator and more recently by UNH.
Family will receive friends from 4 – 7 pm Thursday June 13, 2013 at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral procession will leave Clancy Funeral Home at 9:30 am on Friday, June 14, 2013 for a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial in St. Vincent de Paul Church, East Haven. Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
