Wow...I am going to miss Paul.
We played together in a band when we were growing up...although we disagreed a lot...he helped me to overcome my fear of playing in front of people and we shared creative times together, that I will never forget.
When he moved back to England to re-discover his roots....I would call and always wake him and his Uncle up in the early am...well actually his Uncle first... and then he would wake Paul...Paul was never harsh with me, for calling at the wrong time, he would talk with me until he had to go to work at the airport.
A very gentle ....yet direct soul and the world will sorely miss his presence...I know I will...I was hoping to see him again and maybe do a little jamming to Cheap Trick.

We are sending out our deepest condolences to the Garrington Family and all of those who loved him, and there were plenty. Paul was always fun to see. He made us laugh with his goofyness. We'll miss my mom telling us funny stories about Paul. The world will be a little less funny now. God bless.

Dear Garrington Family,
I’ve known Paul since high school, starting with Saturday afternoon bowling in Branford. Paul, Lazlo and George Hardwick. For 30 years, Paul was a good friend to me.
Paul and I actually double-dated to the Branford High School prom when he was dating Linda Carbone. I have pictures of us in tuxedos – funny colors, of course. That’s probably when we started becoming better friends.
Paul and I always got along great, always poking fun at other. When I think of Paul what comes to mind is he always had a glowing smile and made everyone around him happy. Paul loved to laugh, and while I knew the fun side of Paul, he’d also take the time to listen to me when I had things on my mind, usually putting things in proper perspective...and then would laugh.
I bumped into Michael Laucella a few weeks ago and he shared that Paul was in the hospital. I regret that I did not get up to see him and had just been thinking about him.
I will miss Paul. I felt blessed to have been friends with Paul and certainly will never forget him. He was a good friend to many people and someone you always enjoyed being around. You really did a nice job raising a son and brother.
I am truly sorry for your loss. Kindly accept my condolences.

My deepest sympathies to the whole Garrington family. I was stunned when my Mom told me the sad news. I was a good friend, co-worker and a roommate of Paul's back in the late 80s. He was a unique individual and always had a way of making people laugh. I'm sorry I had lost touch with him. Sadly, Ted Jasmin and Family.
