Obituary of Josephine Bradley

Josephine Bradley, 87 of East Haven, passed away January 15, 2014 at Laurelwood Rehab in East Haven. She was born March 19, 1926 in New Haven to Angelo and Maria (DeLuca) Moscato . She is preceded in death by parents, husband, Richard Bradley Sr., son, Albert Bradley Sr., sisters, Sue DeLillo, Carmel Ventura, Rose Hardy, brothers, Dominic Moscato and Michael Moscato. Josephine is survived by daughters: Maria Pettola (Richard) of East Haven, Candace Breault (Leonard) of East Haven, sons; Frank Bradley of Waterbury and Richard Bradley (Ann) of Woodstock, CT, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by sister, Sylvia Apuzzo of East Haven and brother, John Moscato of East Haven and numerous nieces and nephews. Josephine owned and operated a Polish market on State Street, Jo Bradley’s Friendly Corner from 1967-1974. She was an avid gardener who had a passion for roses and also enjoyed cooking. Her forever steeping pot of tea, macaroni and meatballs will be missed but never forgotten. Family will receive friends on Monday, January 20, 2014 from 10:30 AM until the time of a brief service at 12:30 PM in the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial to follow at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.
