Eileen (Gillette) Tucker, 95 of New Haven, passed away at CT Hospice in Branford on Saturday, January 18, 2014. She was born April 17, 1918 in Fair Haven, daughter of the late Dwight and Margaret (Donovan) Gillette. She is predeceased by her husband, Vincent Tucker, son, James Tucker, sister, Margaret Gillette, and brothers, Walter and Francis Gillette. Eileen is survived by her son, Lawrence Tucker (Joyce) of Guilford, two granddaughters, Elizabeth Plasky (Chris) and Mary Catherine Muenker (Greg), both of Madison. She is also survived by her beloved great grandchildren, Ryan, Alex, Lily, Ethan, Ava and Gracen.
Funeral service is in the care of Clancy Funeral Home, East Haven. There will be no calling hours. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 10 AM in St. Rose of Lima Church, 115 Blatchley Ave., New Haven. Committal will be private in St. Bernard Cemetery
