Obituary of Lesley Ann O'Brien

Lesley Ann “Peachie” Douglas O’Brien, 60 of New Haven and East Haven, passed away January 28, 2014 at home. She was born on October 19, 1953 in New Haven Connecticut. She was the daughter of the late Robert Sr. and Audrey (Smallman) Douglas. Lesley is survived by three children; KellyJean O’Brien of Guilford, Joseph Marcarelli of Hamden, DaniLaura Marcarelli of New Haven, one granddaughter; Audrianna Marcarelli, two brothers; Robert Douglas Jr. of Guilford and Michael Douglas (Deborah) of East Haven and five nieces and nephews as well as three great nieces and nephews. Lesley graduated from East Haven High School with honors. She was part of the graduating class 0f 1971. Most of her career was spent working in the Bradlees Department store in East Haven. After Bradlees she was a Home Health Aid and then she became a Nurse’s Aide for Priority Care of East Haven. She was loved dearly and will be missed by all. Family will receive friends from 10 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private at a later date in East Lawn Cemetery.
