Louise Trotta, 93 of East Haven peacefully and quietly slipped away on March 8, 2014, surrounded by her family at home. She was born August 28, 1920 to Gaetano and Carmela (Gargano) Coppola. She is preceded in death by parents, husband of 50 years, Salvatore Trotta and siblings; Paul Coppola, Sal Coppola, Tony Coppola, Rapheal Giaconni and Anna Rose DeLuca. Louise is survived by two loving daughters, Linda Bone (widow of Herman Bone) of Madison and Diane Mastracchio of East Haven. Louise is also survived by four grandchildren; Mark Mastracchio, Vanessa Seidell (Streeter), Jonathan Bone, Elizabeth Bone and numerous nieces and nephews. Louise graduated from Boardman School while bringing up her younger siblings. She loved to cook and enjoyed having her home filled with company and laughter. She was challenged with many obstacles in her life and dealt with them with dignity and strength. Louise was a wonderful role model to her family. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her daughters and grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 4 to 8 PM at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral procession will leave Clancy Funeral Home on Wednesday at 9:45 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Vincent de Paul Church, East Haven. Committal to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donation to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405 in memory of Louise Trotta.
