At her home July 15,2008, Mary E. (Boyle) Bilides, 79 of Virginia Rd., East Haven. Wife of the late Philip Bilides. Lovining mother of John M. (Linda) Bilides of Houston, TX, Philip (Mary Ellen) Bilides of East Haven, Richard (Stephanie)Bilides of Northford, Michael Bilides of East Haven, Patricia (Mel) Lombardo of East Haven and Cynthis Shatto of North Branford, sister of Nancy Devine of Wallingford and Margaret Corriveau of Milford. Also survived by her 14 cherished grandchildren and 1 great- grandchild. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother John J. Boyle.
Mary was born in New Haven, June 20,1929 daughter of the late John and Anne (Thomson)Boyle. Prior to her retirement she worked in the Tax Department for the Town of East Haven.
Her funeral will leave Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave, East Haven, Saturday at 9:00am. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in Our Lady of Pompeii Church. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 4pm-8pm. In lieu of flowers contibutions to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, 06405.
