In CT Hospice, July 21,2008, Assunta "Sue" Goglia LaFrance, 79 of Laurel St., East Haven. Beloved wife for fifty nine years to John "Jack" LaFrance. Mother of John LaFrance and wife Gina and their children J.J. and Dionna, Sharon Garguilo and husband Frank and their children Stacey and Janell. She was predeceased by a son Steve LaFrance and a daughter Suzanne Fitzgerald. Also survived by grandchildren Danielle, Lindsey and Jacklyn Fritzergerald, a brother Fred Goglia and sister Lucy Savo. Also predeceased by sisters Mary Santarcangelo and Celeste Turcio. Born January 3,1929 in New Haven a daughter of the late Fred and Anna Pastore Goglia, she was a graduate of the former Commercial High School in New Haven and had been employed for several years at Pathmark and K-Mart. Sue loved to cook and take care of her family, they were her greatest joy and she will dearly be missed by them and many others. Funeral from Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Thursday morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St.Vincent de Paul Church at 10:00. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5pm-7pm. Sue's family would like to extend a gratefull thank you to both the CT Hospice and the Branford Hills Health Care Center for the excellent care given to her during stays in both facilities.
