Helen Guadagno, 91 of East Haven, passed away April 21, 2014 at CT Hospice. She was born September 5, 1922 in East Haven to Anthony and Anna (Lorenz) Karpinski. She is preceded in death by parents, husband, Anthony Guadagno and brother, Alvin Karpinski. Helen is survived by two daughters; Linda Miniter (Brian) of Branford and Deborah Lloyd (Greg) of Guilford, grandchildren; Kimberly Miniter, Marc Brzozowski, step-grandchildren; Amy Borio, Toby Lloyd, Josh Lloyd and eight great grandchildren.
Helen lived in East Haven for most of her life. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and taking care of her family. A special thanks to her son-in-law, Greg Lloyd, for his friendship, support and care he has given Helen over the years.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 9 AM until the time of service at 10:30 AM in the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to American Heart Association in memory of Helen Guadagno.
