Obituary of Frances Giordano

Frances Moore Harrison Giordano, 79 of East Haven, went to be with Our Lord, loved ones and family on August 10, 2014. She was born May 23, 1935 in New Haven. She was predeceased by her mother Marguerite Moore Pulcini, sons Gary and Jeff Harrison, sisters, Gloria Ferraiuolo and Claire Melillo, brothers, Leonard and Henry Moore, husbands, Calvin Harrison and Don Giordano. She leaves her loving daughter, Cynthia Harrison (Christine Vining) of Los Angeles, CA formerly of Guilford, son, Calvin Harrison (Donna) of Unionville, formerly of Guilford and former daughter- in- law, Marion Harrison. Frances also survived by granddaughter Katherine Harrison, grandson, Leo Harrison Vining, sister, Edith Prusski, brother- in- law, Bernard Harrison, extended family member and very special close friend Gail Wassmer and many nieces and nephews whom she loved and they loved her. Frances loved flowers and always had the prettiest garden in her neighborhood. She was also an artist who painted the most beautiful pictures. She retired from Echlins after 25 years of service. She lived her last years in Talmadge Park where she received compassionate and superior care from all the staff and hospice aids. She will also be remembered by her primary care Dr. Emily Nolfo who took great care of her for 25 years. Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 9 am till time of service at 11:30 am in the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, with Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
