Obituary of Thomas Tufano

In New Haven, Sept. 16, 2008, Thomas Tufano, 74, of Cosey Beach Rd., East Haven. Beloved husband of Joan Blake Tufano for fifty five years. Father of Tina Michaud and husband Anthony, Michael Tufano and wife Sharon, Ronald Tufano and wife Raffaella, Stanley Tufano, all of East Haven and the late James Tufano. Grandfather of Allen Tufano, who he raised, troy, Noel, Ronald Jr., Brittney, Nicholas, Michael and C Cassandra Tufano, Kayla and Anthony Michaud Jr. and the late Candace Tufano. Great grandfather of Daci, Hazy and Allen Tufano Jr. and Tatiana Corchado. Brother of AnthonyTufano of FL. Born July 10, 1934 in New Haven a son of the late Carmen and Mary Landino Tufano he served with the US Army and was employed for twenty nine years as a route salesman for the New Haven News Agency and also Anderson News for seven years. He was also a pars driver for Auto Electric in East Haven. Mr. Tufano was a communicant of St.Clare Church in East Haven and was a proud member of St. Clare Council # 10339, Knights of Columbus and was a member of the Honorable W. Patrick Donlan Assembly 4th Degree, New Haven. Funeral from Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East haven, Friday morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clare Church at 10:00. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4-8pm.
