Phoebe Brulotte 86 of East Haven, passed away at her home on October 25, 2014. She was born July 18, 1928 in Roxbury to Albert and Nora (Lynch) Dickinson. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Brulotte, four sisters and six brothers. Phoebe is survived by three loving children; Jean Skwirz (George) of Meriden, Lynda Rascati of East Haven and Robert Brulotte (companion, Eileen Beck) of East Haven, grandchildren; Brian DeLauro, Robert DeLauro, Christina DeLauro, Jennifer Halpin (Jim), Noelle Rascati, David Rascati Jr. (Elizabeth), Hannah Rascati, Barbara Flynn (Jim), Robert Brulotte Jr., Cory Brulotte and Abby Brulotte. She is also survived by great grandchildren; Kyle Beattie, Luca Garcia, Jamie Brulotte, Amber Brulotte, Sal DeAmico and one brother, Daniel Dickinson (Lillian) of New Milford. Phoebe attended St. Raphael’s School of Nursing and worked as a RN in St. Raphael’s Hospital and later retired from Talmadge Park Health Care in East Haven. She volunteered and was active with Girl Scouts of America in the Greater New Haven area.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral procession will leave Clancy Funeral Home on Thursday at 9:40 AM for a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clare Church, 234 Coe Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Orchard House, 421 Shore Dr., Branford Ct 06405 in memory of Phoebe Brulotte.
