Dorothy Santacroce 83 of East Haven passed away December 7, 2014. She was born August 29, 1931 in New Haven to Charles and Mildred Rallies. She is preceded in death by parents, son, Francis Santacroce Jr., two sisters and two brothers. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 62 years, Francis Santacroce, loving daughter, Joann Santacroce of East Haven and a sister, Elsie Malickey of Madison. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a seamstress for over 20 years at Nora Zandra in Orange and later a personal care giver for 25 years. She enjoyed cooking, going to the casino, UCONN basketball and spending time with her family.
Family will receive friends from 9 AM till 10:15 AM on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral procession will leave Clancy Funeral Home at 10:20 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, East Haven with Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
