In Waterford, October 16,2009, Michael E. Keyes of Waterford, formerly of East Haven, son of the late Michael E. and Mary Moriarty Keyes. He is survived by a sister, Helen Carey of Shelton and a brother, Thomas Keyes of Durham. Mr. Keyes was born in New Haven, October 10, 1927 and was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army. He was predeceased by five sisters, Rita Swanson, Mary Grudzinski, Anne Martin, Rose Jones, Therese Keyes and three brothers, Joseph, Jack and Bernard Keyes.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St.Vincent de Paul Church Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
