Rosemary Theresa Platt D’Addio, 88, formerly of Huntington Ave., New Haven, passed away peacefully on Jan. 5th, 2010. She was the beloved wife of Pasquale Louis D'Addio Sr. and the cherished mother of Pasquale Louis D'Addio Jr. and his wife Patricia and Maureen Criscuolo and her husband Paul. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, George and Raymond Platt and a sister Dorothy Juliano. Born Jan 4, 1922 in New Haven a daughter of the late George and Dorothy Donnely Platt, she was a graduate of Hillhouse High School class of 1939 and was employed for over twenty years as an assistant librarian for the New Haven City Library. Rosemary lived a life of caring, giving and loving to all her family and her friends. Her caring love will be missed but not forgotten. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 11:00 in St. Vincent de Paul Church, East Haven. Interment will be private. Rosemary's family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff of Ledgewood 2 at the Branford Hills Health Care Center for the loving care given to her during her stay there. Memorial contributions in Rosemary's memory may be made to the Branford Hills Health Care Center, 189 Alps Rd., Branford, CT 06405. Arrangements are with the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
