Mary L. Ruotolo of East Haven was born in New Haven on May 30, 1915. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was pre-deceased by her husband of 61 years John Ruotolo and her brother Robert S. LaBarbera. She worked as a reference librarian at the Hagaman Memorial Library and was an active member of The East Haven Women's Club, The East Haven Historical Society, and school PTA's. She and husband John spent many happy moments at Cranberry Cottage, Orleans Cape Cod. She is survived by her daughter Barbara and husband Edward Biatowas of Guilford, her son John and wife Fay Ruotolo of Norwalk, and her grandson John E. Biatowas of New Haven. Mary's generous nature and genuine concern for others are gifts that will long be remembered. Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 2nd a St. Vincent de Paul Church in East Haven.
