Obituary of Ruth M. Heller

In CT; Hospice, Branford, May 30,2010, Ruth M. Clock Heller, 94, of Roy St., East Haven. Wife of the late Joseph A. Heller Sr. Mother of Joseph A. ( Irene ) Heller Jr. of Essex, Richard J. ( Patricia ) Heller of Oxford, Patricia A. Bedard of Madison, Kathleen R. Heller of Guilford and the late Robert J. Heller. Grandmother of Gregory and Scott Bedard, Wendy Perrotti, Richard J. Heller Jr., Michele Bennett, Lisette Korcak, Monique Parnoff and Eric and Adam Heller. Sister of the late Ronald Clock, Howard Clock, Eleanor Story and Eunice Carlquist. Also survived by eighteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her beloved feline companion, Lincoln. Born Aug. 8,1915 in New Haven a daughter of the late Gilbert and Marion Gilbert Clock. Her mother died when she was a child and she was raised by her father and step mother ,the late Edith Dilge Clock. Ruth was a faithful member of St. Vincent de Paul Church in East Haven and was a member of the ladies guild of the church. She was also a member of the East Haven seniors bowling league and the East Haven and West Haven WATES clubs. She loved to travel but her church and her family were always her foremost concern. Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Friday morning at 9:30.Mass of Christian Burial in St. Vincent de Paul Church at 10:00. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
