In East Haven, June 1,2010, Rose Marie Lumia Famiglietti, 88, a resident of Talmadge Park, East Haven, formerly of Farmingdale, NY. Wife of the late Antonio J. Famiglietti. Mother of Anthony J. ( Mary ) Famiglietti of Trumansburg,NY and Susan ( Robert ) Welsh of Guilford. Grandmother of Andrew and Emily Famiglietti and Kim and Jackie Welsh. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Born Sept. 18,1921 in New York City a daughter of the late Angelo and Sebastiana Capella Lumia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 9:30 in St. George Church, Guilford. Burial in State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Talmadge Park Resident Recreation Fund, 38 Talmadge Ave., East Haven, CT 06512. Arrangements are with the Clancy Funberal Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., EAst Haven.
