In Middletown, July 15,2010, Agnes M. " Mums " Considine Reed, 89, of Lower Boulder Trail, Killingworth, former longtime resident of Exchange St., New Haven. Beloved wife of Albert F. Reed. Mother of Joan ( William ) Reed Galvin of Killingworth, Ronald R. ( Elaine ) Reed of Safety Harbor, FL, Richard J. ( Denise ) Reed of Branford and the late Albert T. Reed. Grandmother of Patty Galvin, Billy Galvin, Kathleen Galvin, Jonathon Reed, Christopher Reed, Joan Reed Wilson, Jennifer Reed Mateson, Kimberly Reed Iagrossi, Kevin Reed, Ryan Reed, Michael Reed and the late John Galvin. Great grandmother of Ashley Galvin, Rebecca Galvin, Dylan Reed, Garrett Reed, Katherine Wilson, Natalie Wilson, Justice Mateson ,Jewel Mateson, Samantha Iagrossi and Isabella Iagrossi.Sister of Robert Considine of New Haven and the late James J. Considine, Josephine Considine, John Considine, Francis Considine, Marion Mulqueen and Anna Anderson.Born April 17,1921 in New Haven a daughter of the late Patrick and Anna Mae Kelly Considine, she was employed for twenty years at Macy's Dept. Store in New Haven as a clerk in the childrens dept. She was a member of St. Lawrence Church in Killingworth. Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven Monday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St Lawrence Church, Killingworth at 10:00. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. Friends may call Sunday from 4 - 7 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Middlesex Hospice, 28, Crescent St., Middletown, CT 06457.
