In Yale New Haven Hospital, October 1, 2010, after being stricken at her home, Woodward Ave., New Haven, Kathryn Hanrahan, beloved wife of Joseph Scirocco and sister of Margaret Hanrahan-Cordoso of Stratford; also survived by one nephew and three nieces. Kathryn was born October 20, 1953, daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy Shanahan Hanrahan. She was a medical schedualing nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital where she had served for 35 years. She was a graduate of East Haven High School and attended Columbia University. She was an avid reader, a lover of nature and a New York Yankee fan.
Funeral from The Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Monday morning at 8:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bernadette Church at 9 o'clock. Friends may call Sunday from 3-7pm. Memorial contributions may be made to The Smilo Cancer Hospital, P.O. Box 1849, New Haven, CT 06508.
