Vincent Anthony Pacileo Jr., 89 of North Haven and formerly of East Haven, passed away at Gaylord Hospital on Friday, October 22, 2010. He was surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Marie Pellegrino Pacileo. Born on August 26, 1921 in New Haven CT., he was the son of the late Dr. Vincenzo A Pacileo Sr. and Marie Anna Pacileo. He was proud to have served in the US Airforce during World War II and graduated from Junior College of Commerce in New Haven. He worked for 41 years at Sargent and Co; many of those years as the Cost Accounting Manager and retired in 1991. Vincent enjoyed his retirement by spending as much time as he could with his family and friends and especially his grandchildren. Vincent loved all sports and fishing, and was an avid bowler in the Sargent bowling league even after retirement. He enjoyed playing cards and being a Yankees fan. Vincent was a parishioner of St. Vincent DePaul Church in East Haven for many years. Besides his wife, Vincent is survived by Donna Voytek and her husband Philip of West Haven, Vincent A Pacileo, III and his wife Laura of Ivoryton and Paul Pacileo and his wife Anne of North Haven. He is also survived by the apples of his eye, his 7 grandchildren, Adrienne Seeley, Stephanie Voytek, Erin Pacileo, Catherine Pacileo, Vincent A. Pacileo IV, Christopher Pacileo and Natalie Pacileo. Vincent was predeceased by his sisters Evelyn Riccio, Lucille Garita and brother Albert Pacileo Sr. Memorial Donations may be made to Gaylord Specialty Healthcare, PO Box 400, Gaylord Farms Road, Wallingford, CT. Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Monday morning at 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Vincent de Paul Church at 9:30. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call Sunday from 3 - 7 pm.
