In East Haven, Nov. 3, 2010, Robert A. Link, 97, of Charter Oak Ave., East Haven. Husband of the late Josephine Link. Brother of Marion Tamulevich of Branford and the late Katherine Calling, Doris St. John and Otto, James and Walter Link. Also survived by several nieces and nephews including Delila " Inez " Fazzino of New Hampshire, Bonnie Ahearn of North Branford, Lucille Swepston of East Haven and Cynthia Knapp of New Haven, his beloved canine companion Blue and many friends at the Country Kitchen . Born July 4,1913 in New Haven a son of the late Otto and Katherine Hartnett Link, he served with the US Army during WWII and was employed for many years as a machinist with Hi-Standard Manufacturing. He also worked for DeNegre Garage and Progressive Packaging. Graveside service with military honors will be Friday, Nov. 12th at 12 noon in the East Lawn Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the East Haven Animal Shelter, 183 Commerce St., East Haven, CT 06512. arrangements are with the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
