In New Haven, Dec.1, 2010, Eileen L. Dorman VanValkenburg, 82, of Henry St., East Haven. Wife of the late John VanValkenburg. Mother of Diane (Stephen) Pretak and Nancy (Russell) DeSanti, both of Torrington. Grandmother of Stephen, Gregory, Michael and Samantha. Sister of Richard Dorman of East Haven and the late Harold Dorman. Born Aug. 10,1928 in New Haven a daughter of the late Reginald L. and Cecelia Callahan Dorman she had been employed by Stop and Shop.
Funeral service will be private. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
