Susan (Locke) Lynk 71 of Branford passed away August 18, 2020 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born January 27, 1949 in New Haven to Warren and June (Page) Locke. Susan is survived by her child and nine step-children, her mother, three nephews, several cousins and her good friend Henry “Peter” Anyzeski.
Susan attended and graduated from Wilbur Cross High School in New Haven. She spent many years in early childhood development at New Generation Day Care where she was a beloved teacher. In her spare time, Susan loved to cook and bake for family and friends. She also had an interest in astronomy, was an avid reader and an animal lover.
She is preceded in death by her father (2012) and husband, William “Bill” Lynk (2009). The family will receive mask wearing friends from 12:00 P.M. (noon) until 3 P.M. on Saturday, September 19, 2020 with a brief service at 2:30 P.M. in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private.
