William “Bill” Rosa, 69, of New Haven passed away December 7, 2020 at Yale Haven Hospital. He was born June 28, 1951 in New Haven to George and Lillian (O’Connell) Rosa. William is survived by his sister, Justine Altieri of New Haven, brother, Dennis Rosa (Julie) of North Haven along with numerous nieces/nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Robert Rosa, George Rosa, Richard Rosa, Marilyn Rosa and Bernadette Stalker.
He retired as a dispatcher for the New Haven Police Department after a long and happy career. He was a long time Hockey fan of the Boston Bruins.
Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a graveside service on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 10:30 AM in St. Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Ave., West Haven (Please meet at cemetery office). Funeral services are under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
