Obituary of Mary Ellen Henderson

Mary Ellen Henderson 81 of Milford passed away November 25, 2021. She was born January 31, 1940 in Milford to William and Julia (Casey) O’Neill. Mary Ellen is survived by her four children, Julia Lloyd (Jim) of East Lyme, Sheila Dahlberg (Bill) of Clinton, Michael Henderson (Michelle) of Sarasota, FL., and Marybeth Henderson of Stuart, FL. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Brittany Dahlberg and Sean Dahlberg along with a sister, Sheila O’Neill of CA and a brother, William O’Neill (Donna) of WA. Mary Ellen is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jack O’Neill. Mary Ellen graduated from Milford High School in 1958. She was employed at SNET after graduation as a phone operator. Mary Ellen moved to Madison. Ct. in 1972 to raise her four children and started a career in decorating/interior home design. She was employed by Marlborough Country Barn for 20 yrs. She was famous for her world class pie making. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a graveside service on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 11:30 A.M. in St. Mary Cemetery, 425 Buckingham Ave., Milford CT. Funeral services are under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
