Jason Sagnella 43 of East Haven passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2021. He was born October 4, 1978 in New Haven to Bernadette Gilson Sagnella of East Haven and Joseph Sagnella of Las Vegas. Jason is survived by his parents, son, Jaiden, siblings, Joseph Sagnella, Erica Sagnella and Nick Iang all of East Haven. He is also survived by his four beautiful and sassy nieces, Alexis, Jayda, Mia and Aria (Uncle Jason was their superhero).
Jason lit up any room he walked into. He was a kind, funny, a huge ball breaker, class clown and everybody’s best friend. He was easy to talk to, he would call you an idiot, but help you through all your problems. Although he had four nieces, he was “Uncle Jay” to all the kids in the neighborhood.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 P.M. on Monday, December 13, 2021 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. All are welcome to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, December 14 at 11 A.M. in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Bernadette, 385 Townsend Ave., New Haven. Burial will be private.
