Ruth and her husband, former owners and operators of South-End Superette in Morgan Point developed many lifelong friends with families in the neighborhood. Family was everything to Ruth, she had a loving and generous spirit to all whom she came across and made a lasting impression on everyone. She is remembered for many things, but her beautiful voice of song and a love of music along with her passion for cooking will be remembered by all. Those that knew Ruth always knew to come with an empty stomach. Ruth was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, and friend, always thinking of others first. To know her was to love her.
