Susan (Anderson) Sayre 75 of Sebring, Florida, formerly of Clinton, CT passed away unexpectedly on December 25, 2022. She was born September 7, 1947 in New Haven to the late Sanford and Mildred (Umbricht) Anderson. Susan is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Michael Sayre and three devoted daughters, Michelle Phillips (Gordon) of East Haddam, Stacy Brown (David) of Vernon and Kerri Bastien (Bruce) of Seymour. She is also survived by her three grandchildren who she cherished, Micayla Phillips, Mason Brown and Peyton Brown along with two siblings, Gail Anderson of Branford and Sandra Tagliatela (John) of East Haven. Sue grew up in the Morris Cove section of New Haven, CT and married the love of her life, Michael on May 10th 1969. She lived in Clinton, CT from 1972 until 2010 moving to Sebring, FL after her retirement from Stop and Shop. In recent years she shared half the year between Sebring, FL and Hebron, CT. She loved cruising the world, the beach, reading, bingo, and especially spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who loved her. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a funeral service on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. in Christ and the Epiphany Episcopal Church, 39 Pak Place, East Haven with burial to follow at East Lawn Cemetery. All services are under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East haven CT.
