Joseph Anthony Civitelli Jr. 76 of East Haven passed away October 30, 2023 at Ct Hospice. He was born July 22, 1947 in New Haven to Joseph Anthony Sr. and Lydia (Martin) Civitelli. Joseph is survived by his sister, Jo-Ann Farace (Frank) of Branford, two nieces, Dana Howd (Jason) and Jessica Setaro (Rob) along with two great nieces, Harlow and Emersyn Howd. Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Linda (Hazall) Civitelli and a sister, Susan Ann Civitelli. Joseph was a proud US Air Force veteran and retired employee from Sikorsky. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 11 A.M. in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of Our Lady of Pompeii, 355 Foxon Rd., East Haven with burial and Full US Air Force Military Honors to follow at All Saints Cemetery. All services are under the care and direction of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home & Cremation Service (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
