Obituary of Carole Ann Young

Carole Ann Young age 73, passed November 22, 2023, in Madison, Connecticut. Ronnie Robinette, who adored his mother, gently held her hand. Carole was born in New Jersey January 10, 1950, to the late Joseph Young, and mother Gloria Devlin. Carole adored her granddaughter Casy Robinette, indulging her with hugs and art projects. She was a warm affectionate soul that expressed her love through her paintings. Vases, canvas, shells, rocks were meant to vibrate with glitter, acrylics and watercolors. Colorful birds and the natural world were her subjects. Carole expressed her generosity as a hair stylist, an art form that became her passion and livelihood. Carole frequently owned and operated her own salon. Former clients from New York and Rhode Island often visited her for a hairstyle and conversation. Her kindness, compassion and talent encouraged the following of admirers. Her congeniality extended to her coworkers as she worked well with other stylists. All humans needed pampering, and her caring soul understood the importance of sharing her gifts with others. Life for Carole, and her sister Cheryl, was a journey of friendship. They were both creative and generous. Carole was a free spirit that enjoyed life to the fullest. Her kindness extended to her clients, her friends, family and furry animals. Her son Ronnie, an only child, shall miss the caring soul that taught him the importance of creating beauty. His gardening skills and appreciation of various animals are her legacy. Carole’s memory shall be cherished through her warm heart and altruism. She believed in her value, as a person, was making others happy in thought, word and deed.
