Obituary of Angelo Pinto

Angelo Pinto, 66, of North Haven Ct, passed peacefully with his wife and kids at his bedside, on December 27, 2023 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born in New Haven, Ct on August 3, 1957, to the late Armondo and Pauline (Giacomine) Pinto. His outgoing, adventurous style followed him from childhood to his adult years. When Angelo was younger he was into construction and loved to tell his family and friends about all the work he had done. Even in his last days he was offering to repair the roof on his nurses’ house. To know Angelo was to love him. His humor and teddy bear personality was infectious. He always had a story, a joke, and a lesson wrapped into one. Angelo’s first, last and always love was his bike. As a young adult he would wear his teamsters vest (chapter 10) with pride. After being injured all he ever wanted was to turn his bike into a trike and ride again. We as a family are asking anyone who rides to please come on your bike if possible to send him off with the roaring sounds he has always loved. Angelo was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Patty Belanger. Angelo is survived by his step-son, David (Nicole) White, Angelo “AJ” Pinto Jr., Amber Pinto, and Mark Pinto, he is also survived by his grandkids, Jacob (Michaella) McDade, Samantha White, Makayla White, Alison Cargan, and David “DJ” White and several nieces and cousins that will forever be in his heart. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 4 PM until the time of service at 6:30 PM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private at a later date.
